Roosevelt University offers the unique Pathway programs, International Year One, English for Academic Purposes, and a Pre-Master's program. These allow students to bring their English up to speed in a university environment and meet language proficiency requirements to directly enter into the degree program of their dreams.
Roosevelt University was founded in 1945 and is located in Downtown Chicago, the 3rd largest city in the USA behind New York and Los Angeles.Roosevelt University is the 4th most ethnically diverse college in the Midwest, currently representing students from 63 countries.More than 50% of classes at Roosevelt have fewer than 20 students.In addition to this excellent ratio, studying at Roosevelt gives you great opportunities to intern and network with leading businesses in Chicago as an international hub for finance, commerce, industry, telecommunications, and transportation, with international businesses such as Boeing, Motorola, Abbott Laboratories, Exelon, Allstate, McDonalds, and Kraft Foods in the area.



The Pre-Masters program prepares you to get your MBA, MPA, Masters in Marketing Communications, or Masters in HRM at Roosevelt.The on-campus preparation is designed specifically for international students
  • who do not have an official TOEFL/IELTS score and

  • who have not taken a GMAT or GRE test or
  • who have not been able to reach a minimum score of 80 in TOEFL or 6.5 in IELTS


    KEY FACTS

    Course length: 1 semester (15 weeks) or 2 semesters (8 months) depending on English level

    Entry requirements:
    GPA 2.75 or equivalent
    GMAT/GRE required only for MBA applicants with GPA below 3.0
    English level from equivalent of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 60
